K9 Bennie was placed in partnership with Courageous Companions through their veterans and first responder service dog program with Michelle.  K9 Bennie has brought balance back to the families life and helped Michelle move forward in her life and care for her family. A well trained service dog and solid family support allows for a dog to make a huge change to someone’s life. The experience of getting service dog for Michelle and it's benefits has motivated Michelle to help the next veteran / first responder to get a dog but also to look into becoming a trainer for MSAR.
