K9: Hawkeye aka Ricki Bobbie

One of our up and coming favourite dogs by the public is K9 Hawkeye. This gorgeous Shepherd was adopted from Elhart K9’s German Shepherd - amazing temperament and breeding and we have adopted three dog from them so far and all have made the cut to service work. K9 Hawkeye is named after the character Hawkeye from Last of the Mohicans (amazing movie)and his nickname Ricki Bobbie because of his playful and goody temperament . K9 Hawkeye is paired with K9 Jager and Constable George Leonard serving the First Nations in Manitoba. K9 Hawkeye is trained for tracking, cadaver and protection of his handler and K9 partner. Hawkeye has been in service for over a year and has been on several searches / recoveries in Northern Manitoba.

An amazing well balanced dog that is playful but loves to work and train - his main speciality is tracking and body recovery. Hawkeye is a regular on the winter / ice road and meeting the youth in the communities.
