K9 Jessie was adopted from the RCMP K9 Program - she is a machine for tracking, apprehension and recovery. The RCMP have a world class breeding and training program that MSAR utilizes to get quality working dogs to serve the Manitoba First Nations.

Jessie was partnered with K9 Force and now is paired with K9 Petral and K9 Rex. She has worked locally and internationally and is a work horse participating in some of our high level searches and recoveries.  She has past the 100 search number level and still going. Jessie loves people, belly rubs, fetch and training. She is one of the most protective and loyal dogs MSAR has ever had and is a regular on the winter road / ice road trips to the northern communities. Jessie is defined as a wolf in sheep clothing - she looks cute and cuddly but don’t mess with people or dogs she loves.
