K9 Tetris is in training for the Manitoba First Nations Narcotics program to help eliminate drugs from entering northern communities. Tetris will be trained and assigned to Winnipeg airport and community visits - Labs are great drug dogs as people are not afraid of them vs a shepherd and the lab is able to walk up without fear or being noticed and detect drugs on people even before they realize it has happened. Their playful and happy nature make them a natural for working in airports for detection tasks. Tetris will also be on the northern travels working in northern airports and communities as well as demonstrations in schools to help deter child / youth from taking drugs.  Watch for updates on this sweetie.
